History

The Eastern Neighbours Film Festival has become synonymic for a genuine presentation of our neighbours!! Who are our neighbours, what do they do, what do they look like and what do they think about us? The festival reveals the true identity of Eastern and South-eastern European countries to a large Dutch and international audience in The Netherlands.

Foundation Cultural Aid (SCA) distinguishes itself from other cultural organizations in The Netherlands by generating sincere partnerships with organizations in the region on which it focuses. These partnerships are based on a reciprocal exchange of projects in which mutual contributions are being made. It is utterly important to stress that SCA is currently enjoying the benefit of collaborating with prominent institutions and individuals from the region. Instead of working unilaterally presently SEE culture in The Netherlands we also present the rich Dutch culture in the region by exchanging projects, ideas and expertise and we also jointly participate in other projects.
