At the closing ceremony we viewed a recently restored Sweet Emma, Dear Bobe by Hungarian master Istvan Szabo in the presence of Dutch actress Johanna ter Steege, who commented that the fashion and she herself had changed, but the film looked like it was made yesterday. We waved off our previous Managing Director Igor Lesić with a special gift, and handed out the audience award – a trip to Montenegro – to the lucky winner Lilly Todorovic!,Photos by Mladen Pikulic

Next to the film screenings in progam Cinema by Migrants/Cinema on Migrants, we had a DEBATE about the new identity of European contemporary cinema. The program Short Films, Big Stories was accompanied by film directors Aleksandra Odic and Bernard Brkic together with the actress Katarina Justic. Palace for the People tells the stories of the most emblematic five buildings of socialist times – highly representative for the epoch and witnessing the historical turbulence in Eastern Europe in the second half of the XX century. This documentary will have its Dutch premiere at the ENFF as part of Focus program – Europe, 30 Years After the Berlin Wall.
