BRUNCH WITH VACLAV NECKAR
Come and join us at the brunch in honour of the famous Czech actor and singer Václav Neckář. He got famous for his role in the Oscar winning film Stricktly contolled trains by Jiří Menzel. Neckář plays the leading role in the Czech classic LARKS ON A STRING, this year’s closing film. The brunch starts at 11.30 in studio A.
CLOSING FILM – a treat for film connoisseurs
LARKS ON A STRING by Oscar winning director Jiří Menzel, made in 1969 and immediately forbidden by the Czechoslovak government till 1990, when it won the main prize at the Berlinale. Special guest at the closing ceremony is leading actor Václav Neckář.
Musical performance at the closing ceremony
Two amazing young musicians from Austria will perform at the closing ceremony of the festival. Rina Kaçinari from Kosovo, and Maria Craffonara, born in Tirol, join forces in an inspiring duo-project featuring their original compositions for strings and voice.
