One of the most renowned documentary makers of the “old Yugoslav film school”, known for exploring the pure strength and poetry of the language of cinema, is the Montenegro born and Serbia based film director Vladimir Perovic. His new cinematic gem premiered recently in Sarajevo and we are very proud to screen his latest work that deals with a moral dilemma and the challenges that a famous pilgrimage site faces.

Synopsis
Can a shrine and its devotees find their place in our tumultuous and vain modern era? A place of mindfulness and purity for over five centuries, on an islet artificially made, has to put up with aggressive entertainment. Again this raises questions of heavenly vs. mundane, temporarily vs. eternal, material versus spiritual…
