Synopsis
Janka became seriously ill. He would like to see the Sun, but it is a cold autumn day. His sister, Alenka, would like to help her little brother and goes to search for the Sun. This film is based on a fairy tale of known Belarusian author Uladzimir Karatkevich. The director underlines: “Uladzimir Karatkevich is one of my favourite authors. I wanted to give the audience the idea that we are all responsible for each other and should help each other.’’

Verhaal
Janka werd ernstig ziek. Hij zou graag de zon te zien, maar buiten is het een koude herfstdag. Zijn zus, Alenka, wil haar broertje helpen en gaat op zoek naar de zon. Gebaseerd op een sprookje van de bekende Wit-Russische auteur Uladzimir Karatkevich. De regisseur benadrukt: “Uladzimir Karatkevich is één van mijn favoriete auteurs. Ik wilde het publiek meegeven dat we allemaal verantwoordelijk zijn voor elkaar en dat we elkaar moeten helpen.”
