Captivating short film about an ordinary night with an extraordinary ending.
Synopsis
A young taxi dispatcher receives an unusual call. It turns into an extraordinary situation. What will happen to the taxi driver and what to the citizen that hired the taxi? The film story opens up many questions and goes much deeper beyond the linear narrative that we follow. It reflects the nuances of the complex society in Kosovo, a new country whose citizens are being constantly confronted with personal nightmares caused by intensive war events, pressure, danger and struggles in the recent past. Is it post-traumatic stress or some other disturbance that haunts the conscious of the film character? All of these important questions are in the sub-layer of the narrative and therefore, this short film provides an amazingly complex story that makes us think and raises important questions about society.

Verhaal
Een jonge taxichauffeur krijgt een ongebruikelijke oproep die een uitzonderlijke situatie veroorzaakt. Wat gebeurt er met de taxichauffeur en wat gebeurt er met de passagier? Dit verhaal roept vele vragen op en heeft onder de oppervlakte een veel diepere laag. Het weerspiegelt de nuances van de complexe samenleving in Kosovo, een nieuw land waar de burgers voortdurend worden geconfronteerd met persoonlijke nachtmerries, veroorzaakt door intensieve oorlogsgebeurtenissen, druk, gevaar en de strijd in het recente verleden. Is het post-traumatische stress of een andere verstoring die het geweten van dit filmkarakter achtervolgt? Al deze belangrijke vragen sluimeren in een sub-laag van deze vertelling, waardoor deze korte film een ongelooflijk complex verhaal vertelt en ons aan het denken zet over de samenleving.
