Are you communicative and proactive, but don’t have much work experience? Do you want to acquire it as a volunteer?

We are the Eastern Neighbors Film Festival and are currently looking for film enthusiasts to join our small, international team and help us make our next edition unforgettable!

The Eastern Neighbors Film Festival will take place at Filmhuis Den Haag from 23 to 27 November 2022. Get involved, meet interesting people and discover the best recent films from Eastern and South Eastern Europe!

Who can apply?

Anyone who is older than 18 years (f/m/x) and has solid communication skills, knowledge of the English language, and a flexible attitude toward assigned roles.

Volunteer

In preparing and realizing the festival, volunteers can be deployed in various jobs such as screening attendants, collecting audience award forms, info or invitees desk, decorating the festival locations, hospitality, guest pick up, preparation of special events, catering and much more. What can you expect as an intern or volunteer?

Apart from a unique festival experience, you will get free access to film screenings, debates, masterclasses, talk-pro, music performances, cocktails, wine-tasting etc. All positions are unpaid but the festival will provide you with meals and drinks during shifts, a festival t-shirt, a catalog and compensation for your travel expenses. You will meet inspiring guests and fellow volunteers, have the opportunity to broaden your network, use current skills and gain new ones, and of course, enjoy the great atmosphere of the festival!
