Hungarian filmmaker K Kovács Ákos is the winner of the NEW TALENTS COMPETITION! The young director beat the strong competition with his debut film BRANKA (producers: Filmfabriq, Salamandra Film, distributor: Lights On), a shocking story that took place in the maternity ward of a state hospital in Yugoslavia in 1991.

Congratulations to the winner of the audience award and 1000 euros! A big thank you also goes to the other participants of this program, the young filmmakers who sent us their first films this year.
